Happy New Year to all and welcome to the start of what we hope is another exciting year of golf. Hoping this year will be drier.

Well our first major event is almost upon us with the 2023 Match Play Championship being contested in February. Note the first qualifying round is Saturday 28 January 23 in conjunction with the January monthly medal which is also on this day. The second qualifying round will be Saturday 4 February 23. You must nominate to contest the championship before your tee time on the first qualifying round. A nomination form will be available in the pro shop from Friday 20 January 23. Please only nominate if you can play both qualifying rounds and also the championship rounds on 11, 18 and 25 February 23. Please see [here] for full playing conditions.

The 2023 Top Gun Championship is well underway. Watch out for an updated leader board over the next few days. It is never too late to register and qualify. This year looks to being hotly contested.

The first of our cup events is this Saturday with the Australia Day Cup being contested. This is a single stableford event for members only.

There will be no competition this Friday 20 January 23 due to another event taking place.

Please also note there is an Open Medley Single Stableford on Australia Day next Thursday 26 January 23.

The Men’s Major Pennant team kick off their season at Lynwood on Sunday 29 January 23 with an 11.30 am tee off. The 2023 squad is:
