Penrith Open

The Penrith Amateur Open is being played on Saturday 6 March 21. This is a Vardon Event and is open to visitors with a GA handicap of 5.7 or less. Entry fee is $35 for eligible visitors and $20 for members. Tee times are available from 6:30 am to 8:30 am and 11:12 am to 1:00 pm. Visitors must register with the entry form that can be found [here] and the entry fee must be paid at the time of submitting the entry form. We look forward to seeing you on the day.

2021 Matchplay Championship

Round 2 of the 2021 Match Play Championship qualifying was completed on Saturday and final qualifiers and reserves are now locked in. The following is the final fields:

The first Knockout Round is this Saturday 13 February 21 commencing at 11.12 am. Tee time have been allocated so please have a look at your on line bookings. Please report to the pro shop 15 minutes before your allocated tee time to avoid one of the reserves being called on. If you are a reserve you must be at the course and available to play 15 minutes before the allocated tee times to be eligible to be called on.

If you know you cannot make your tee time please contact the pro shop ASAP and advise them you are unable to play. The semi final is the following Saturday 20 February 21 and the final is played Saturday 27 February 21. You must be available to play the next 3 weeks at the allocated times. If not, please ensure you advise the pro shop of your withdrawal.

Play is from the Blue Plates and you must play at your allocated tee time. It is the winners responsibility to ensure your result is recorded on the sheet located in the pro shop after the conclusion of your match.

The normal competition fees applies as this goes towards the prizes allocated.

You still have the opportunity to register as there is still 27 rounds available to qualify. It is only $10 to enter and $2 per qualifying round. Don’t forget to get your card stamped before each qualifying round.

We have a new leader this week with a Qualifying Score of 132 and with a qualifying score of 135 required last year (which was 1st reserve) there is not too many players in Top 19 who are considered safe. If you are not in Top 19 plus reserves see 2021 Top Gun Full Leaderboard as at 31 January 21 for full leader board for all players.
