Our first Cup event was played last Saturday in what was pretty tough conditions with the mercury nudging 40 degrees when the Australia Day Cup was contested.

Congratulations to Martin Finnimore who took out the 2021 title with 42 points on a countback from Nathan Walker, Bob Jensen and Aaron Trinder. Will played Martin and everyone who played on the day when the ball comp only went down to 36 points.

Just a reminder our first major title event of the year commences this Saturday 30 January 21 being the first round for qualifying for the 2021 Match Play Championship. This is also the January monthly medal and you must play both this Saturday and in February’s monthly medal on Saturday 6 February 21 in order to qualify. There will be a member of the Golf Committee on hand on Saturday 30 January 21 taking nominations and this is the only way to nominate.
