The 2024 Penrith Open was played on Saturday with a great turnout.
The winner of the Sutherland Cup named after our late life member Rod Sutherland was taken out by Ti Fox of Concord with a score of a 3 under par 69 – well played Ti and thanks for making the effort to come out and play.
The runner up was Oliver Davis of The Australian with a 2 under par 70 and in 3rd was Jason McBeath of Newcastle with a 1 under 71 on a count back from local Josh Gadd. In 5th spot was John Fearnley on 72.
The Watkins Bowl, named after life member and club stalwart John Watkins, for the best nett score was won by Duane Orth with a nett 67 in a countback from Neil Johnston who was runner up. In third sport was Brad Collin with a nett 68 in a count back from Kevin Geyer in 4th place. In 5th place was Kelvin Cheam with a net 69.
