2024 Captain Bowl
The Captains Bowl is a competition for Juniors who are under 18 years of age as at the start of the competition on 1 December each year.
The bowl runs in conjunction with the Monthly Medal from December to November. Points are awarded in each Monthly Medal and the winner of the bowl is the player with the most accumulated points over the year.
Points are awarded as follows:
1 point for competing in each Monthly medal,3 points for the leading Junior of each Monthly Medal based on net score,2 points for the 2nd placed Junior, and1 point for the 3rd placed Junior.Previous winners of the event and who you will be familiar with are our Major Pennants Captain Dale Hughes (2005), Major Pennant Players Josh Gadd (2012, 2013, and 2014), Blade Gadd (2015 and 2016) and Michael Organ (2017 and 2019). The current holder of the trophy is Zavier Button.
