An Update from the Golf Committee
The 2023 Captains Knockout starts tomorrow for the top 16 qualifiers from the earlier qualifying round – tee off’s are 11.12, 11.18, 11.24 and 11.30 on the 1st tee. The second round is next week and the semi final the week after. Good luck to all the players involved. Please ensure if you are a winner to record your score with the pro shop.
The 2023 Masters Pennants commences this Sunday with our first match at home against Kogarah. Tee off is 10.00 am – feel free to come and support our team.
Some upcoming events include:
- Spencewood – this is a 2 ball matchplay event. Nominations open Friday 9 June and close 7 July. The qualifying round is Saturday 8 July with games played 15 July, 22 July, 29 July and 12 August. PLEASE only nominate if you are able to play all days,
- The Family Cup is being played Sunday 17 June. This is open to all PGC members only and is a 2 ball teams event for members of the Club who are family members. Family members are defined as immediate family or household, and includes spouse, de facto partner. See the playing conditions in the fixture book for full details. The timesheet opens on Thursday 8 June.
A decision will be made shortly on the washed out 2023 Autumn & Masters Cup.
With winter coming please be mindful of care of your course. Please ensure you fix all your divots, repair pitch marks and rake the bunkers after use. Pretty simple.
