HOLE #1 – MOUNTAIN VIEW

Proudly Sponsored by Seven Hills RSL

For all but the longest hitters, clearing the water from the tee is the first order of business. Accuracy with the second shot is crucial to set up a straightforward approach to a receptive green. Beware the severe slope on the front section of the putting surface — it has a way of turning makeable putts into treacherous tests.

GA Red – 456m | Index 6 | Par 5
GA Blue – 499m | Index 7 | Par 5

A strong opening par 4 that rewards a confident drive. Favour the right side of the fairway to gain extra run and set up a clearer approach. The long, narrow green is guarded by mounds on both sides, making precise club selection essential to find the putting surface.

Male – 374m | Index 8 | Par 4
Female – 335m | Index 6 | Par 4

A precise short iron is required on this picturesque par 3. Bunkers guard the green on the left and short, ready to gather anything misjudged. Take careful note of the wind — correct club selection is everything here.

Male – 146m | Index 12 | Par 3
Female – 127m | Index 17 | Par 3

A short par 4 that rewards placement over power. Favour the right-centre of the fairway from the tee to set up the best angle in. The green is tightly guarded with bunkers on both sides, ready to catch any wayward approach shots.

Male – 320m | Index 3 | Par 4
Female – 303m | Index 8 | Par 4

A subtle dogleg right played over water, this hole rewards a well-placed tee shot. Find the fairway and you’ll be left with a mid to short iron into a deceptively contoured green. Be sure to check the pin position — distance control is key.

Male – 356m | Index 14 | Par 4
Female – 279m | Index 11 | Par 4

A long and demanding par 5 that calls for accuracy from the tee. Long hitters may take on the water in two, while others should favour a well-placed lay-up to set up a controlled approach. The two-tiered green is guarded by deep bunkers on the right, making precision essential on the final shot.

Male – 515m | Index 6 | Par 5
Female – 484m | Index 1 | Par 5

A short but testing par 3 where precision is everything. Bunkers guard the green left, right, and short, while a steep slope beyond will collect anything struck too boldly. Walk away with a par here, and you’ve done well.

Male – 146m | Index 10 | Par 3
Female – 122m | Index 13 | Par 3

A strategic par 4 defined by the massive fairway bunker dominating the left side. Finding the fairway is crucial to set up your approach, but be wary — water lurks right and long of the green, ready to punish anything overhit. Favour the left side of the green to give yourself the best chance at par.

Male – 328m | Index 1 | Par 4
Female – 306m | Index 7 | Par 4

Penrith’s most renowned hole — a true test of golf. This demanding uphill par 4 requires a solid drive to set up a long approach into a narrow green that slopes steeply from back to front. Finding the putting surface is only half the battle — stay below the hole to avoid a treacherous downhill putt.

Male – 414m | Index 16 | Par 4
Female – 401m | Index 9 | Par 5

HOLE #10 – PROS WATCH

A demanding long par 4 where par is always a solid result. The lake on the right eagerly awaits any sliced tee shots, while the small green is tightly guarded by bunkers. The smart play is to bail out short, leaving a straightforward chip and putt to save par.

Male – 385m | Index 5 | Par 4
Female – 361m | Index 3 | Par 4

A challenging long par 3 that demands a controlled left-to-right shot into a narrow, kidney-shaped green. Water guards the left and will punish anything pulled, while the safe miss is short right — leaving a manageable up-and-down.

Male – 195m | Index 11 | Par 3
Female – 117m | Index 18 | Par 3

A true three-shot par 5 where accuracy is paramount. Out of bounds runs the entire length of the right side from the tee, demanding control and composure. Favour the right side of the fairway with your second shot to open up the green for a short-iron approach.

Male – 509m | Index 2 | Par 5
Female – 421m | Index 4 | Par 5

Accuracy is everything on this demanding par 4. Out of bounds runs the full length of the right side, punishing anything wayward. Choose your most reliable wood or long iron to find the fairway — it’s the only way to ensure a clean approach into this well-guarded green.

Male – 393m | Index 15 | Par 4
Female – 373m | Index 15 | Par 5

Deceptively short yet full of danger, this par 4 demands accuracy from the tee. A well-placed fairway wood or long iron is key to avoiding the trio of bunkers lining the left side of the fairway. The approach is no easier, with greenside bunkers short, left, and right standing guard. Precision is the only safe passage.

Male – 292m | Index 7 | Par 4
Female – 229m | Index 12 | Par 4

A challenging par 3 where precision is crucial. The long, narrow green is guarded front-left by a deep bunker, while steep slopes left and long are ready to punish any misjudged shot. Finding the putting surface is an achievement in itself.

Male – 159m | Index 13 | Par 3
Female – 117m | Index 16 | Par 3

A demanding par 4 where danger lurks on both sides. Water guards the left and trees crowd the right, making a long, accurate tee shot essential. The green is protected by two bunkers on the right and one on the left, with subtle breaks that make reading putts a true test of touch.

Male – 388m | Index 4 | Par 4
Female – 374m | Index 14 | Par 5

A risk-reward par 5 offering big hitters a chance to reach the green in two. Out of bounds lurks down the left, so favour the right-centre of the fairway to set up a well-positioned second shot. The slightly elevated green demands a straight, crisp pitch if you hope to walk away with birdie — or even par.

Male – 471m | Index 17 | Par 5
Female – 369m | Index 10 | Par 5

A precise tee shot is essential on this closing par 4, with a pond guarding the left and mounds flanking the right. The green is heavily defended — an exceptionally deep bunker fronts the putting surface, with another lurking left. Keep your approach below the hole to give yourself the best chance at a smooth finish.
