Dear Members,
Qualifying round this Saturday, sheet is in the Proshop.
1. The Spence Wood Knockout is a member only 2 person team Matchplay event.
2. The nomination sheet will be on display on the Club Notice Board leading up to the event. (if not enough members qualify on the qualifying day, those who have listed will be balloted into the draw. Qualifiers receive priority and will be seeded.) Nominations open Friday 7 June 24 and close 28 June 24
3. No nomination fee is applicable to this event.
4. The normal member competition fee is payable on the day and you will not be included in the event of the day except NTP\’s
5. The qualifying round is on Saturday 29 June 24. Rounds are played 13 July 24, 20 July 24, with the Semi Finals 27 July 24 and the final 10 August 24.
6. You must play with your partner in the Qualifying Round.
7. The Top 16 teams from the qualifying round will be seeded and block times assigned on the timesheet.
8. All matches will be played from the competition of the day tee markers.
9. All matches must be played on the scheduled date and time. Players can participate without their partner being present.
10. Lowest handicap golfer in the group goes to scratch and the difference of the remaining handicaps (to a maximum of 18) will determine the match index for each hole. All players are to use their current handicap per round to calculate the match index.
11. Matches that finish all square after 18 holes will continue on a sudden death basis until a winner is obtained.
12. The winners of each round are responsible for recording the result on the draw sheet located inside the pro shop.
13. This event is under direct control of the Golf Committee and all protests and disputes must be referred to the Golf Committee within 30 minutes of completion of any round. Decisions made by the Golf Committee will be final.
