Rule Update
The following areas are declared “No Play Zones”:
  • The excavation area next to the 10th green that has been roped off that extends back towards the current dam ,
  • The roped off area between the 10th and 1st fairways,
  • The white pegged and/or roped area around the practice fairway – essentially a large square area.
COMPULSORY drop zones have been established for the No Play Zone between the 1st and 10th holes. You MUST use one of the drop zones created for the hole you are playing. Use the drop zone nearest to your ball but NOT nearer the hole.
For the new dam area next to the 10th green, relief MUST be taken as per Rule 16, nearest point no nearer hole.
Relief for the practice fairway zone is as per Rule 16, relief MUST be taken at nearest point no nearer hole
The ropes and pegs used to define these areas are Immovable Obstructions and swing and stance relief can be taken as per rule 16.
There is no line of site relief in any of these zones. Players must not enter these areas whilst any machinery is in operation.
Bare patches, damaged or repaired areas on 4th, 7th, 17th and 18th greens only are now declared an abnormal course condition. Relief can be taken if interfering with ball as well as line-of-sight relief.
