Due to continuing work on the Northern Rd upgrade, Transport NSW will need to temporarily close access from The Northern Road to Glenmore Parkway and Wentworth Road, Orchard Hills for a full weekend from 8pm Friday 10 July  and reopening to traffic at 4am Monday 13 July, weather permitting. Access to Penrith Golf Club will be made via the old entrance on the Northern Rd. Golfers will need to drive past the club driveway, turn left and then drive back towards the entry driveway. Lend Lease will have signage and staff directing traffic all weekend. New traffic lights will be in operation at the old round-a-bout from Monday.
