The Captains Bowl is a competition for Juniors who are under 18 years of age as at the start of the competition on 1 December each year. The bowl runs in conjunction with the Monthly Medal from December to November each year. Points are awarded in each Monthly Medal and the winner of the bowl is the player with the most accumulated points over the year. Points are awarded as follows:
1 point for competing in each Monthly medal, 3 points for the leading Junior of each Monthly Medal based on net score, 2 points for the 2nd placed Junior, and 1 point for the 3rd placed Junior.Previous winners of the event have been our Major Pennants Captain Dale Hughes (2005), and Major Pennant Players Alex Platts (2010), Josh Gadd (2012/3/4) and Blade Gadd (2015).
