About Penrith Golf Club
Penrith Golf Club is a 6247m Par 72 Championship Golf Course featuring pure couch fairways and bent/poa mix grass greens. The golf course is considered by many as 'the best in the west'. The golf course is fully irrigated by an automated irrigation system with water sourced direct from the Nepean River.
The Golf Course has previously hosted the NSW Open, NSW PGA, Australian Seniors PGA Championships and the 2010 NSW Junior Boys Championship. The course record of 63 is held by ex-Club Professional and Life member Mr. Graeme Abbott.
The New Clubhouse at Penrith Golf and Recreation Club was opened in 1997 and has wonderful aesthetic qualities with the superb backdrop of the Blue Mountains and the Golf course.
The Club is a great location for a quiet beer or glass of wine. Club facilities include, large screen televisions, TAB, Keno, 14 different draught beers, beautiful alfresco dining area overlooking the magnificent golf course.
The employees at Penrith Golf Club are often acknowledged as the friendliest in the local community, which is a reputation we are very proud of. Our members are our best friends and that extends to our guests as well.
