Unfortunately the shocking weather Sydney has experienced over the past few months has hit yet another major event with the 2022 Top Gun Shootout having to be suspended after the completion of 5 holes. We teed off in barely playable conditions after the rain on Friday night and Saturday. We managed to work through the first major downpour only to be smashed again a couple of hours later that rendered the course unplayable. The event will be re-convened to a date in the near future. Players will receive an email with the new details shortly. The Calcutta will remain as is and prize money paid out at the conclusion of the event. Many thanks to the players who braved the conditions and to the volunteers who took time out of their weekend to help out in the unpleasant weather we experienced.
